Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox went to the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She studied the harpsichord and the flautist piano for 3 years. She managed to make it by surviving on a student stipend, while working part time jobs. Lennox decided to change her path in life following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience in the same way as others Royal Academy students. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. But she quit shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. From 1977 until 1980 she was lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop group. It was here that she met Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work on Diva in 1992, her debut album as a solo artist. Both commercially as well as critically the album was a massive hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo, released in October 2014 was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite soul jazz blues tracks from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. Her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and musician and singer. The latter part of the 70s was when she gained a little fame when the lead singer in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. Lennox launched her own solo career when she released her debut album Diva in the year 1992. This was the source of several hit songs, including Why andWalking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. It has covers of some songs, including No MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo studio albums and her compilation album include a number of songs.
